LIBERTY TWP. –A Private Family service will be held for Christine M. Fleming, 60, of Liberty Township, who passed away Thursday evening at Hospice House with her husband and family at her side.
Christine was born December 17, 1957 in Youngstown and was a daughter of Robert C. and Alice Cannon Gray and was a lifelong member of this community.
She was employed by the American Red Cross as the Emergency Service Director in both Mahoning and Mercer Counties for 23 years and was employed by CBT Supply for over 12 years.
Christine was a loving wife and devoted mother to her son, John and had a big personality! Chris loved spending holidays surrounded by family and treasured family above all.
Christine leaves to cherish her memory, husband, John Fleming II whom she married August 12, 1995; son, John Fleming III of Columbus; brother, Patrick (Mary)Gray of Adrian, Michigan; sisters, Machele Maus of Dayton; Celeste (Andy) Frankle of Canfield; sister in law Terry (Terry) Kerse of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Christine was preceded in death by a son, Tyler Robert Fleming and a niece, Mallary Machele Maus.
The family would like to extend their utmost appreciation and thanks to Hospice House and the entire Hospice Community for the wonderful care and concern that was extended to their wife, mother and sister.
The family also has requested that contributions please be made to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, Ohio 44514 in memory of Christine.
