YOUNGSTOWN – Daniel T. Moga, 74, went to be with the Lord, March 28, 2017, with his family by his side after an extended illness.

He was born January 13, 1943 in Youngstown and was a son of the late Romie and Mary Dumitreasa Moga.

 Mr. Moga was the parts manager of the former Avanti Auto Plant until its closing. He also worked for several dealerships in the Youngstown area as a parts distributer. However his favorite job was working at Idora Park at the French fry stand as a teenager.

Mr. Moga had a very strong Christian faith and loved life and was very much a people person. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell.

He loved collecting old cars, bowling and drag racing where he was a recipient of many trophies. He was a member and past president of YNK Club for many years and a 1961 graduate of The Rayen School.

Mr. Moga is survived by his wife, Roseann; brother, Dr. Raymond and Mary Ann Moga of San Diego, CA; sister, Anita Stark of Warren; six nieces and nephews; 11 great nieces and nephews and his sweet and beloved dog, Sunny.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made in memory of Daniel T. Moga to his wife, Roseann for per his special request.

Calling hours will be from Noon until 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 1st at the McCauley Funeral Home, 230 Broadway, Youngstown, Ohio 44504 with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
