CANFIELD – Clifford Monroe Powell, Jr., 88. Of Canfield passed away Wednesday morning, January 24, 2024 at the Assumption Village.
Mr. Powell was born in Youngstown Wednesday November 25, 1935 and was a son of Clifford Monroe and Luella McKay Powell, Sr.
He was a licensed barber with his father at Kips Barber Shop on South Avenue, he moved to Texas in 1970 and was the owner and operator for Powell’s Construction and returned to the Youngstown area in 1990 to become a caretaker for his parents.
Mr. Powell was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and received his associate degree from Kent State University, was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a former member of Wick Lodge 482. He also enjoyed photography, woodworking, and arts and crafts.
He leaves his children, Chip Powell of Canfield; Craig Powell of Youngstown; and Jamie (Sammy) Campisi of Maui, Hawaii; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren and his significant other Lorene Unick of Canfield.

Private services were held Monday, January 29, 2024 at Lake Park Cemetery.
