YOUNGSTOWN – Richard “Dick” J. Manushaw, 84, of Youngstown, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019, at the Cleveland Clinic following a prolonged illness and he will be certainly be missed.
After graduating from the University of Notre Dame (class of 1956), Richard served his country in the U.S. Army. Nevertheless, he was a lifelong Youngstown resident- a city where his family had deep roots.
Richard was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Austintown. To those who had the benefit of knowing him, Richard was an intelligent, principled, and caring man.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander John Manushaw and Eleanor Kaminisky Manushaw, and his brother, Alexander John (Rhoda) Manushaw, Jr.
Richard is survived by his nephews, Michael (Carolyn) Manushaw of Alameda, CA; and Jack (Lori) Manushaw of Hobart, IN; a niece, Susan Willfond of Michigan City, IN; great nephews, Adam (Kristen) Willfond of Indianapolis, IN and Zachary (Samantha) Willfond of Valparaiso
Richard will be interred in Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery.
