McDONALD – A Memorial Service will be 6 p.m. Monday at the McCauley Funeral Home for Charles Ramsay Malcomson who passed away Tuesday morning.
Mr. Malcomson who was known as "Chas" was born June 6, 1952 and was a son of Donald and Nancy Ramsay Malcomson and was a lifelong member of the area.
Chas was employed by U. S. Steel as a roll turner for 34 years, was a graduate of McDonald High School and attended Youngstown State University.  Among his many joys in life his grandchildren and family brought him the most pleasure.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Nancy of McDonald; his wife the former, Theresa Guarnieri, whom he married June 6, 1975; his children, Geoffrey (Lisa) Malcomson of Columbiana; Megan (Patrick) Reagan of Newark; and Shawn (Heather) Malcomson of Sandwich, Massachusetts; sisters, Jeanne (Jim) Burnsworth of Melbourne, Florida; Mariann (Bob) McClary of Ocala, Florida; and Nancy Dawn Pompeo of McDonald;  grandchildren, Maria, Geoffrey, Avery, Amelia, Jane and William; sisters in law, Babs Malcomson and Cathy (Terry) Oaks; brothers in law, Angelo Guarnieri and George (Patty) Guarnieri; several nieces and nephews and his countless friends that meant so much to him.
Besides his father, Chas was preceded in death by a brother, Dallas and a sister in law, Marilyn Guarnieri.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
