YOUNGSTOWN--Funeral services will be 4pm Sunday, Jan. 26 at the McCauley Funeral Home for Donald D. Sanchez who passed away Thursday at Northside Medical Center.
Mr. Sanchez was born March 12, 1945 a son of Frank E. and Frances Bednar Sanchez Sr. and he was a lifelong resident of the community.
For 30 years, he was a drapery installer for Frank's Drapery and Rod Service and then a used car salesman for Steel Town Motors, both family owned business. Donald retired from Steel Town Motors in 2010.
He was a member of the Miami Indian Tribe of Oklahoma and was a guitar player in a band called Fugitives.
Donald is survived by his brother Dennis Sanchez of Youngstown, a niece Lisa, nephew Dennis and his significant other Laura Faunda.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Frank Sanchez Jr.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 pm on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
