POLAND- A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church in Youngstown officiated by Father Kevin Peters for Eleanor A. Campana, 87, of Poland who passed away Friday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Campana was born December 11, 1927 in Youngstown and was a daughter of Rocco and Antoinette LaVolpa and was a lie long member of the community.
She was employed by the J.C. Penny's in the Southern Park Mall for over 30 years and retired in 1994. Mrs. Campana was a member of the church, an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed attending sporting and school events. She was a graduate of South High School and attended cosmetology school.
Mrs. Campana leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Angela Reagan of Poland; Carole Mancini of Lowellville; Eleanore Roman of Houston, Texas and Theresa Neapolitan Of Austintown; sister, Josephine Teasley of Youngstown; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Campana, whom she married in 1950 and who passed away in 2009, a son, Frank Campana and several brothers and sisters.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
