Canfield--Services will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, Dec.3, at Green Haven Memorial Gardens Chapel for Farid Girgis who died on Nov, 29, in St. Louis, MO.

Mr. Girgis was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Cairo, Egypt, a son of Aziz and Monira Girgis.

A chemist; he moved to the United States in 1990 and resided in Canfield.

Mr. Girgis leaves to cherish his memory his children: Hala (Wafik), Maha (Awni) and Wael (Suzy); his grandchildren: Ramy (Danielle), Emad, Freddy (Danyelle), Rany (Jessica), Karen and Olivia; great-grandchildren: Charlie, Amir and Ari and his siblings: Effat and Aida Girgis.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Zahia and siblings Kokab, Mary and Fayek Girgis.
