Obituary

YOUNGSTOWN – Jean DiLallo Camuso, 89, of Youngstown passed away Saturday afternoon, January 22, 2022, at Hospice House with her loving family by her side.

Mrs. Camuso was born September 30, 1932 in Youngstown and was a daughter of John and Giacinta Minelli DiLallo and was a lifelong member of the community.

Mrs. Camuso was the co-owner with her husband, Anthony J. "Tony" Camuso of Tony Camuso Concrete Incorporated which specialized in residential work and retired in 1989 She was a dedicated wife and mother in which her home and family were of the utmost importance. Mrs. Camuso had a passion of making a variety of crafts from flower arranging decorations to crocheting and everything in between. She was an amazing cook from her homemade sauces to her delicious wedding soup and her talent as a baker with her many different pies, certainly were on par with her delicious foods. Mrs. Camuso loved her flower garden and attending to it and was a seamstress. She enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas and was an ardent supporter of St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital and a member of St. Columba Cathedral. In her earlier years she served as a candy striper at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mrs. Camuso was known as Nunnie to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Camuso leaves to cherish her memory, children, George (Julie) Camuso of Canfield; Marie (Larry) Camuso Speelman of Canfield; and Patricia (boyfriend, John Rosenberg) Camuso of Girard; brother, Tony DiLallo of Columbus; grandchildren, Dean (Kate) Bushling; Anthony Camuso; Annie (Anthony) Malloy; Tony Taylor; Ron (Mari) Oakman; Robert Roth and Gia Kosmo; great grandchildren, Grace, George, Eva, Alexandra, Ava, Anthony, Austin, Claire, Kennedy and Audrey.

Mrs. Camuso was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony J. "Tony" Camuso for over 60 years of marriage, whom she married October 13, 1951 and Mr. Camuso passed away June 3, 2012, brothers, Carl, Lou, Joe, and John DiLallo; sisters, Rachel Costello, and Ann Parish.

Services were private.
