Judith (Connolly) Dolby, 86, of Poland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025.
Born with a warm spirit and a generous heart, Judith devoted her life to her family, her students, and all those fortunate enough to know her. She was a proud graduate of Ursuline High School, Class of 1957, and went on to earn her degree from Youngstown State University in 1963. Judith built a meaningful career in teaching, where she touched the lives of countless students with her patience, encouragement, and unwavering belief in the power of education.
Judith was the beloved wife of the late James Dolby, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and partnership. She is survived by her three children, each of whom brought her immense pride: Michael, Patrick (Michele), and Andrea (John). She was also the loving grandmother of Logan, who brought her great joy.
A lifelong resident of Poland, Judith was known for her kindness, strength, and natural zest for life. She loved to read and travel, embracing every opportunity to learn something new or explore somewhere unfamiliar. Her curiosity, energy, and warmth left a lasting impression on all who met her.
Judith will be remembered for the steady comfort she provided, the wisdom she shared, and the deep love she held for her family and community. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In lieu of services, she requested that donations be made in her name to Second Harvest Food Bank of Mahoning Valley.
