NEW SPRINGFIELD – Lauren Michele McGarry, 43, of New Springfield, passed away on the evening of August 24, 2020 at her residence with her mother by her side. Lauren was born October 21, 1976 in Youngstown and was a daughter of Donald and Marjorie Chaberd McGarry. Besides her parents, Lauren is survived by her sister, Holly (Ryan) Bunner of Dublin and three nephews, Aidan, Dillon and Quinn Bunner.

Lauren was a 1995 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. She attended Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, Youngstown State University for dance and also studied at Rocky Mountain Institute of Yoga and Ayurveda and was a licensed massotherapist. She was the founder of Red Horse Wellness Center and Red Horse Equine Arts. She was very passionate about animals with a special love for horses.

Lauren loved to travel the world and experience life in many ways. She had a strong passion for the environment and loved spending time outdoors.
