AUSTINTOWN—A Memorial Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 10 a.m. Monday, celebrated by Reverend Kenneth Miller for Linda Harris Welch, 63, of Austintown who passed away Tuesday after an extended illness.
She was born on March 4, 1950, a daughter of Nicholas T. and Pauline Hrynko Harris, Sr. She graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1968 and received her license in practical nursing from Choffin Career Center in Youngstown. She was employed as an LPN at various nursing homes throughout the Mahoning Valley. Linda also had a deep love for animals.
Linda is survived by her mother of Austintown, her daughter Emily Blasko (Brian) Levings of Delaware, OH, granddaughters: Jocelyn, Danielle and Deanna, five sisters: Nancy MacPherson of Weirton, W. V.; Alicia (Tom) Mylott, Bradenton, FL; Cynthia (Anthony) Adduci, Austintown; Paulette Harris, Austintown and Judy (David) Danko of Girard, two brothers: Nicholas (Denise) Harris, Jr., of Ellsworth and Dean (Pam) Harris of Auistintown
She was preceded in death by her father.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 9 to 9:50 a.m. Monday at the church.
