YOUNGSTOWN –  Margaret (Sue) Vitale, 84, passed away early Monday morning, November 22, 2021 at Hospice House in Poland.

Sue was born in Omaha, Nebraska on September 5, 1937 and was a daughter of James Patrick and Margaret Olsen Savage. The family moved to the Youngstown community in 1958 from the Chicago area.

Sue was a self-employed Home Health Care Aid for many years, but her true passion was her church life. Sue was a member of Touch of Heaven Church in Canfield, Ohio where she made beautiful large-scale, intricate banners for the church celebrating her Christian faith, and also choreographed dances for the church's special events. Sue was a graduate of Lorreto Academy in Chicago, and a beloved member of her family and community.

Sue leaves to cherish her memory, Siblings, James Patrick Savage, Jr. of West Virginia; Patrick (Joy) Savage of Youngstown; Michael Savage of Liberty Twp,; Judy Savage of Boardman; Mary Catherine Savage of Austintown; Anne (Roger) Nock of Canfield; and Madeline Savage of Youngstown.

Grandchildren, James (Courtney) Campana; Melody (Daniel) Lamping and Niki (Joe Ebelender) Campana; great grandchildren; Tristan, Ava, Daniel, Gaetana, Sarafina and Rio

Sue is also survived by several nieces and nephews including, Kristin (Jim), Toni (Kim), Malorie, Daniel, Bridget (Aaron), Rachel (Andew), Roger, Jayne (Otto), Jennifer, Jean (Greg) and Julie (Mark); several great nieces including, Sydney, Alyssa and Fionna.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ansel Vitale, daughter April Vitale, siblings, Jerry Savage, Denny Savage, Thomas Savage, Patricia Jean Liscic, and Jayne Savage.

A Memorial Service will be Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Touch of Heaven Church, 10 Skyline Drive, Canfield, Ohio 44406, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
