IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marilyn
Sanders
July 21, 1937 – October 9, 2025
HUDSON – Marilyn Sanders, 88, of Hudson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of Thomas J. Jones, Jr., and Clara Rochford Jones. A proud graduate of The Rayen High School, Marilyn attended Youngstown State University and the Barbizon Modeling School, where her lifelong love of fashion first began.
Marilyn was a people person and a natural-born salesperson; she had an unmatched ability to connect with others. Her charm, warmth, and quick wit made her unforgettable to everyone she met. She brought passion and energy to everything she did—whether it was her career, her travels, or time spent with family.
Marilyn's greatest joy in life came from her family. She was a devoted mother to her children, Jon (Deanna) Sinn of Kent, and Jacqueline (Joe) Grippi of Raleigh, North Carolina; and a proud grandmother to her five cherished grandchildren, Samantha Sinn, Amanda Sinn, Jessica Sinn, Jamison Grippi, and Jordan Grippi. She also leaves her brother, Edward (Patricia) Jones of Struthers, Ohio, and her sister, Barbara Miller of Dahlonega, Georgia.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Virginia Perkins and brother, Thomas Jones.
