Obituary

YOUNGSTOWN—A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Monday, May 19th, at St. Columba Cathedral for Patricia A. Kane who passed away Monday morning, May 12th, at Briarfield Manor in Austintown.
Patricia Kane was born on November 3, 1942, in Sharon, Pa., daughter of Samuel and Francis Bicek Odell.
She was a 1960 graduate of Sharon High School and graduated from the School of Nursing at Mercy College in Pittsburgh earning her degree. She taught at St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing in Youngstown for many years.  In 1981, Patricia left the area and moved to Florida where she worked several jobs as a registered nurse and returned in 2000.
The love of her life were her grandchildren and she also enjoyed cooking, reading and collecting jewelry. She was affiliated with "Friends of Bill W. "
Patricia is survived by her daughter Michele (Jeff) Williamson of Austintown, her grandchildren: Rachel and Andrew Williamson, a brother Larry (Judie) Odell of West Middlesex and a nephew Brian (Michelle) Odell.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A special thank you to all of the caregivers at Briarfield Manor and Hospice of the Valley who were patient and gave special personal care.
