LIBERTY TWP – Services were held at the McCauley Funeral Home in Youngstown for Patrick Joseph O'Connell, 72, of Liberty Twp., who passed away August 26, 2020 at his residence with his loving wife by his side.

Mr. O'Connell was born August 20, 1948 in Sharon, Pennsylvania and was a son of Joseph and Marian Shayuth O'Connell

Mr. O'Connell was an electrical engineer for Penn Power for many years and retired in 2010 from Reznor Manufacturing of Mercer, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Sharpsville High School and received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Youngstown State University.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of almost 40 years, the former Cheryl Ann Rice whom he married on October 3, 1980; son, Timothy Patrick O'Connell of Palm Harbor, Florida; daughter, Heather (Rufus) Chambers of Liberty Township; and grandchildren, Kailea Grace Chambers;  Avah Ruth Chambers and Aurora Sophia Beckman

Mr. O'Connell was preceded in death by his parents.
