Robert James White, 81, passed away late Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center with his loving family by his side.

Mr. White was born on January 12, 1935 in Charlotte, North Carolina and was a son of Meek Everett and Ethel Myrtle Campbell White and located to this area in 1958.

He was a self-employed carpenter and worked on many major projects through his career, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Greenland and the Vienna Air Force Base, member of Carpenters Local Union #171 of Youngstown, an avid golfer with a hole in one, enjoyed traveling, and his later years he spent time camping at Western Reserve Lake and loved his dog, Nina.

Mr. White leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Kimberly Sakalosh of Youngstown; a son, Terrence White of Austintown; grandchildren, Daniel Greiner; Michael Emrich; James McElroy; Misti Campbell; Nathan White; Justin White and Jessica Kemble; great grandchildren, Lyric; Daniel, Jr.;  Mason; Alyssa; Lauren; Ryan; Matthew; Michael; Morgan; Jadyn; Skylar; Chayce; and his companion, Judy Fields.

Besides his parents, Mr. White was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Beheler; brothers, William White and Edward White; his ex-wife, the former, Gloria Roseann Fossesco White

As per Mr. White's request there will be no services or visitation.
