A Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated by Monsignor Robert Siffrin will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Edward Church for Rose Marie Watson Osborne, 91, who passed away Sunday morning at the Inn at Glenellen in North Lima.
Mrs. Watson Osborne was born in Wheatland, Pennsylvania on Jan. 2, 1925 and was a daughter of Glenn W. and Rose L. Campman Darlington.
She was a secretary at Hartzell Rose and Sons and was a bank teller at Bank One and still finding time to be a seamstress and a mother.  Mrs. Watson Osborne was a member of St. Edward Parish, was known for her exquisite baking skills especially her pies, was a wonderful homemaker who adored her family and her many longtime friends, enjoyed shopping on television and was a 1944 graduate of Farrell High School where she was the head majorette.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Michael (Shary) Watson of Poland; Thomas (Lisa) Watson of Dallas, Texas; sister, Judy Pontuti; daughter in law, Margaret Peg Edwards; sister in law, Barb Darlington; grandchildren, John, Erik, Kelly, Liz, Ryan and J.R.; five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews including Lisa and Lori that were special to her.
Mrs. Watson Osborne was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, John J. Watson and Bernard Osborne; son John "Jackie" Edwards; brother, Thomas Darlington and a daughter in law, Karen Watson.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to so many people and places for the excellent care their mother received including, Ed and Diane Reese and the people at the Inn at Glenellen for her special care and help along with the Briarfield, Doctors Denise Bobovnyik, Chris Knight and Dr. Sam of St. Elizabeth-Boardman and also Kevin McGuire of MVI.
The Watson Osborne family has requested in lieu of flowers that contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, 44512
The family will receive relatives and from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Edward Church and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday also at St. Edward Church.
