Obituary
AUSTINTOWN – Services will be 5 p.m. Sunday at the McCauley Funeral Home officiated by Reverend Monsignor Robert Siffrin, for Sally J. (Sara) Czegledy, 75, who passed away Thursday evening at Northside Medical Center with her family by her side.
Mrs. Czegledy was born Feb. 3, 1938 in Youngstown and was a daughter of Edward S. and Florence Landers Tierney and was a lifelong member of the community.
She was employed by Youngstown Sheet and Tube in the payroll department for 29 years and retired from J.C Penney's as a sales associate after 7 years of service.
Mrs. Czegledy was a former member of St. Edward Church, its choir, a member of Youngstown Sheet and Tube Bowling League and an avid Pittsburgh Penguin fan. She was a 1956 graduate of The Rayen School and graduated from IBM Comptometer School.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughters; Mary Lee (Richard Moody) Costello and Florence (Mike) Basista all of Austintown; grandchildren, Jessica, Michelle and Brian Basista.
Mrs. Czegledy was preceded In death by her parents.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
