VILLA MARIA - Sister Marie Bohn, H.M., formerly Sr. Mary Claude, 91, died Sept. 8, 2021 at Villa Maria Community Center.

Born and raised in Cleveland, she graduated from Lourdes Academy in 1947 and entered the Sisters of the Humility of Mary in 1948. She professed her perpetual vows in 1953.

Sr. Marie received her BSE from St. John College, Cleveland and her M Ed from Xavier University, Cincinnati.

She was a teacher, principal, campus minister, retreat and spiritual director in several dioceses. She taught at St. Paul, Salem and St. Edward Jr. High, Youngstown.

The daughter of the late Carl G. and Margaret (Pischulla) Bohn and sister of the late Joan Kramer and Paul T. Bohn, she is survived by several nieces and a nephew and their families and by the Sisters of the Humility of Mary with whom she shared 73 years of her life.

Due to the current pandemic, there will be no funeral Mass at this time.  A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
