VILLA MARIA, PA -- Sister Barbara Bromeier, H.M., 72, died Friday, October 18, 2013 at Villa Maria Community Center, Villa Maria, Pa.  Born in Cleveland she entered the Sisters of the Humility of Mary Congregation in 1959.   She taught and served as principal at St. Patrick, Hubbard.  She returned to Villa Maria Community Center in 2009 where she served in the ministry of prayer until her death.

The daughter of the late Edward and Mary (nee Bowen) Bromeier, she is survived by her brothers Edward and Henry Bromeier and sisters, Marilyn Diamond and Mary Ann Kolofer and many nieces and nephews and their families, and her sisters in the Humility of Mary Congregation with whom she shared her life for 54 years.

Funeral Tuesday, October 22 at 3 PM at Villa Maria Chapel, Villa Maria PA.  Friends may call at Villa Maria Chapel Monday, October 21, 3:30 – 5 and 6 – 8:00 pm and Tuesday, October 22, 1 – 2:30 PM. Prayer service at 7:00 pm Monday, October 21.
