Sister Mary Cabrini Durkee, H.M., 85, the former Marjorie Durkee, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at Villa Maria Community Center, Villa Maria, Pa.  Born in Akron, she entered the Sisters of the Humility of Mary Congregation in 1950.
She ministered in food service at Villa Maria for 26 years and later served as coordinator of the residence hall for the Retreat Center.  She joined with her sisters in the ministry of prayer until her death.

The daughter of the late Ferdinand Hayes Durkee and Carrie (nee Seibold) Durkee, and sister of the late Robert and James Durkee, and Sr. Mary Raymund Durkee, HM, she is survived by her brother Paul Durkee, of Akron and several nieces and nephews and their families including Rev. David Durkee of Green, and her Sisters in the Humility of Mary Congregation with whom she shared her life for 64 years.

Funeral Wed., Dec. 10 at 3 PM at Villa Maria Chapel, Villa Maria PA.  Friends may call at Villa Maria Chapel Tues., Dec. 9, 2 – 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM and Wed., Dec. 10, 1 – 2:30 PM. Prayer service at 7:00 PM Tues., Dec. 9.
