Sister Mary Conrad Walsh, H.M., the former Kathleen Walsh, 92, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Villa Maria Community Center, Villa Maria, PA.  She entered the Sisters of the Humility of Mary Congregation in 1946 from Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Cleveland.  She professed perpetual vows July 17, 1951 and celebrated her 70th jubilee in 2016.

Sr. Mary Conrad earned her BSE from St. John College, Cleveland and her MEd from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh.

Sr. Mary Conrad served 25 years in the ministry of education including teaching at St. Patrick, Hubbard; St. Edward Jr. High, Youngstown; and as teacher and principal at St. Paul, Salem.

The daughter of the late John and Hildegarde (Herold) Walsh, she is survived by her niece Kathleen Rodgers of North Carolina and her family, and her sisters in the Humility of Mary Congregation with whom she shared her life for 71 years.  She was also preceded in death by her brother John V. Walsh.

Funeral Friday, June 30 at 3:30 pm at Villa Maria Chapel, Villa Maria PA.  Friends may call at Villa Maria Chapel Friday, June 30, 1:30-3:15pm.
