Sister Doris Steiner, H.M., [formerly Sr. M. Justene, SND] 79, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Villa Maria Community Center, Villa Maria, Pa.  Born in Canton, she entered the Sisters of Notre Dame in 1953 and transferred to the Humility of Mary Congregation in 1970.  She served as a teacher at Immaculate Heart of Mary School, Austintown and St. Mary, Warren; and was coordinator of the Youngstown Diocesan Office for Evangelization from 1988-95.

The daughter of the late Edward and Justine (nee Kneffler) Steiner, she is survived by her brothers Donald and Ronald Steiner of Canal Fulton and the Sisters of the Humility of Mary with whom she shared  45 years of her life.

Funeral Thursday, April 16 at 3 PM at Villa Maria Chapel, Villa Maria PA.  Friends may call at Villa Maria Chapel Wednesday, April 15, 3:30 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm and Thursday, April 16, 1:00 – 2:30 PM. Prayer service at 7:00 pm Wednesday, April 15.
