VILLA MARIA, PA. - Sister Concilio Joseph, H.M., 93, the former Mary Jane
Joseph, died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at Villa Maria Community Center, Villa
Maria.
Born in Niles, she entered the Sisters of the Humility of Mary Congregation
in 1944. She served as a teacher in the primary grades for 34 years in
parishes in the dioceses of Cleveland and Youngstown including St. Edward,
Youngstown. From 1991 until her death, she shared in the ministry of prayer
at Villa Maria Community Center.
The daughter of the late Joseph Awad and Bader (Kalil) Joseph, she was
preceded in death by her brothers, J. Leo, Edward, Cleo (Kelly), Michael,
Thomas and George Joseph and her sisters, Nora and Vera Joseph.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Joseph and Catherine Joseph;
many nieces and nephews and their families; and her sisters in the Humility
of Mary Congregation with whom she shared her life for 70 years.
Her funeral will be Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. at the Villa Maria Chapel,
Villa Maria. Friends may call at the Villa Maria Chapel today, from 3 to 4
p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Prayer service at is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18.
