TARPON SRINGS, FLORIDA – Services will be 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the McCauley Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church conducted by Father John Harvey, for Stacia A. Marino, 57, of Tarpon Springs who passed away Thursday afternoon after a short illness.
Mrs. Marino who was known as Stacy was born in Youngstown on May 28, 1957 and was a daughter of Dan and Ann Zemko Gill and moved to Florida in 1992.
She was a registered nurse presently working for Westbay Care and Rehabitation Center in Oldsmar, Florida. Stacy loved her sons and spending time with them was her joy. While in Youngstown she was a member of the church and attended St. Ignatius Church in Tarpon Springs. She was a 1975 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and a 1979 graduate of Youngstown State University College of Nursing.
Stacy leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Frank J, Marino whom she married Oct. 31, 1981; sons, Donnie and Joey Marino both of Tarpon Springs; sister, Cathy (Brian) Weaver of Greenville, Pa.; sister, Phyllis (Tom) Bodnar of Orlando, Florida and a brother, Mickey (Karen) Katchmer of Poland; her mother in law, Rosemarie Marino; sister in law, Marie (Andy) Mariani; and she also leaves several nieces and nephews that were very special to her.
Besides her parents, Stacy was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Mary and Mike Katchmer who raised Stacy and her sister Cathy after their mother had passed away.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home where a Panichida Service will be at 6:45 p.m.
