YOUNGSTOWN – Therese Ann Kechler, 67, of Youngstown passes away early Monday morning, September 9, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Main Campus with her partner and their dogs at her bedside.

Therese Ann, who was known as "Teri" was born Wednesday, November 7, 1956 in Warren, Pa., and a daughter of James and Evelyn Webster Prettyman.

She was a member of St. Columba Cathedral, where she was a Eucharist Minister, always enjoyed the coffee and donuts after Sunday mass, she loved to can food, continually active with her vegetable and perennial gardens and enjoyed watching the food channel.

Teri attended Eisenhower High School but graduated from Russell High School, received her bachelor's in business and accounting and received her master's in business from Youngstown State University.

Teri was a Certified Public Accountant for over 35 years initially working for Packard Thomas and then became the controller of Thermal Ventures and retired in February 2021 as the controller for STG Communications.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband and caretaker of 28 years John Paul Kechler, a daughter, Kelli Fure, her brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Sue Prettyman of Russell, PA., her dogs, Casper, and Diamond.

Teri was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive relatives and friends, Saturday, September 28, 2024 in St. Columba Cathedral from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed immediately by A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.
