Vera Mullins, age 67, of Carrollton OH, passed away peacefully on Sunday January 25 2026, surrounded by those who loved her.
She was born on February 20th 1959 in Pittsburgh, and lived a life centered on family, strength, and quiet generosity. She was a devoted Mother/Grandmother/Wife/Friend whose love showed up in practical ways- being there when it mattered, showing up without being asked, and putting others before herself. She was artistic at heart- she loved to paint, to sew and to work with her hands. Whether it was a canvas, fabric, or her garden, she had a gift for turning ordinary things into something special. Her garden was one of her favorite places. She found peace there, nurturing flowers and plants with the same love and care she showed her family. She expressed her love through what she made- hand sewed pieces, thoughtful projects, and the quiet pride she took in seeing things grow.
She is survived by her son Nicholas (Sally) Mullins, her grandchildren Emily, Castle, Colt and Steston, Her brother John Costanzo and her Mother Joanne Costanzo. She was preceded in death by her husband James Mullins, her son Jacob Mullins, her sister Estelle Becker, brother Joseph Costanzo and her father Robert S. Priddy.
Those who knew her will remember her fierce love for her family, work ethic and stubbornness. She didn’t need to be loud to be strong, and her presence will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be held on February 15th, 2026, from 12 to 4 pm at Celebrations Bar, Banquet, and Grill, 8110 Steubenville Pike, Imperial PA 15125. All Family, Friends and children are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests planting a garden honoring the beauty she brought into the world.
