YOUNGSTOWN – David J. Pauli of Youngstown, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 14, 2020 at Hospice House following a brief illness.
Mr. Pauli was born August 7, 1933 in Youngstown and a son of John and Mary Wiltman Pauli and was a lifelong member of the community.
Mr. Pauli was a member of St. Columba Cathedral, a 1951 graduate of Girard High School and enjoyed tinkering
He was employed by McKenzie Muffler for over 13 years and retired from Western Reserve Protective Services as a security guard for over 11 years. Mr. Pauli served in the United States Army from 1953 – 1956 in Graves Registration and received the following medals, National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
Mr. Pauli leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Robin Coursey (boyfriend, Ron Mohn) of Girard; and a grandson Christopher Mohn.
Besides his parents, Mr. Pauli was preceded in death by his wife, the former Nancy L. Ward whom he married July 27, 1968 and who passed away April 21, 1999; sisters, Mary Padovani and Eva Pauli and a brother John Pauli, Jr.
Services were private.
