AUSTINTOWN – Mary Agatha (Aggie) Patrick, 84, formerly of Goldie Road in Liberty Township, passed away Tuesday morning, October 26, 2021, at Victoria House in Austintown.
Mrs. Patrick who was known by Aggie was born in Girard on March 24, 1937 to Michael and Florence Zuby Zabotsky.
Aggie was a member of St. Edward Church and active with the church prayer chain. Aggie belonged to the Sokol Gymnastics Organization. She was a graduate of Girard High School, where she was a cheerleader. Aggie enjoyed gymnastics, roller skating loved going to casinos.
Aggie was employed by U.S. Steel as a secretary in her younger years, later becoming a loving mother and homemaker.
Aggie leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Donald (Jamesina) Patrick, Jr. of Struthers; Ronald (Michelle) Patrick of Sewickley, Pennsylvania; sisters, Henrietta Aggers of Liberty Twp.; Karen (Richard) Logar of Canfield; sister-in-law, Eileen Snider of Austintown; and nieces, Tracy (Michael) Markovich, Christine Owsley and Tracie (Christopher) Schmidt; great niece, Savannah Owsley; and great nephew, Christian Owsley
Aggie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Patrick. Sr. whom she married July 27, 1963 and who passed away August 7, 2020 after fifty-seven years of marriage, brother-in-law, Stephen Patrick; brother-in-law, William Aggers and a brother who died at birth.
The family request that donations may be made to the church.
The family will receive relatives and friends Friday morning, October 29, 2021, in St. Edward Church from 10 t0 10:50 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am celebrated by Robert Siffrin.
