Patricia Ann Slattery

YOUNGSTOWN – Patricia Ann Slattery, 84, of Youngstown passed away late Monday morning, April 24, 2023 at Austintown Health Care Center and was a lifelong member of the community.

Mrs. Slattery was born Saturday, September 17, 1938, in Youngstown and was a daughter of Albert Joseph and Margaret M. Marsh Karabin.

She was an amazing waitress at The Golden Dawn Restaurant for over 42 years and retired in 2010. Mrs. Slattery was a graduate of Ursuline High School, her family was of the utmost importance, enjoyed the arts, music, animals, and television.

Mrs. Slattery leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Joseph Slattery, and Gerard (Gayle) Slattery all from Youngstown: Mary Ellen (John) Rohrbaugh of Diamond; former daughter-in-law, Ellen Slattery; eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph K. Slattery whom she married Saturday, August 23, 1958 and who passed away Thursday, June 15, 2000, a brother, Albert Karabin and a sister, Margaret Mary Karabin.

The family has requested contributions to the Alzheimer’s Assistance and Referral Network, 3695 Boardman Canfield Road, Canfield, Ohio 44406 in memory of their mom.
