Patrick J. Pesa, Sr.

CAMPBELL _ Patrick J. Pesa, Sr. 76 of Campbell passed away Wednesday morning, January 12, 2022 at his residence.

Mr. Pesa was born in Youngstown on March 17, 1945 and was a son of Anthony J. and Josephine Stein Pesa.

Mr. Pesa was an US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a self-employed carpet installer. After leaving the war Mr. Pesa worked for Pearce Carpet until 1969. He then started his own business known as Pesa Carpet and was the owner and operator until May 1983. Mr. Pesa moved to Denver, Colorado after closing his business where he resided until returning to Ohio in 2018.

He was an avid bowler, enjoyed family card night, going to casinos, and hunting for lost treasurers and panning for gold.

He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Patrick J. (Cindy) Pesa, Jr. of Walnut Cove, North Carolina; Tina (Richard) DeVito of Columbiana; and Michelle Neal of Austintown; brothers, Carl, Johnnie (Edie), Joseph (Denise), Thomas (Chrissy), Paul, and Michael, sisters, Phyllis Henderson, Janie (Stan) Dickerson, Pauline Rich and Mary Barber, grandchildren, Courtney Best, Brooke Neal, Deven DeVito and Vincent DeVito, great grandchildren, Taylor and Ava best, his former wife, Shirley Pesa and his dog, Susie.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death a brother, Anthony and a sister, Joanne Gagliardo.

The family will receive relatives and friends at The McCauley Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to Noon Friday, January 22, 2022.
