Ralph W. O'Neill

 LIBERTY TWP. – Ralph W. O’Neill, 68, passed away Thursday May 18, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital following a several month illness with his family by his side.

Ralph, who was known as Stretch was born in Youngstown to Judge Joseph E. and Mary Ellen “Curly” Quinlan O’Neill on Monday November 29, 1954 and was a lifelong member of the community.

Stretch was retired from 5D Construction, and a member of Labor Union #125. He was a parishioner of St. Columba Cathedral. Stretch was a member of the Knight of Columbus number 274 a Fourth Degree Knight and a member of the AOH.

He was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman and always cheered on his favorite teams the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates. Stretch was a 1974 graduate of The Rayen School.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Joseph (Nancy) O’Neill, Jr.; Tamus (Anne) O’Neill; and Michael (Claudia) Mogg; sisters, Danielle O’Neill; Cynthia (Mark) Belinky; and Mimi (Greg) Martin; his aunt, Patricia Mogg, his companion for many years, Lynn McLaughlin and several nieces and nephews.

Stretch was preceded in death by his parents.

A Private service was celebrated by Monsignor Robert Siffrin on Tuesday morning May 23, 2023 at Calvary Cemetery Chapel.
