YOUNGSTOWN – Raymond Kirschensteiner, 78, formerly of Haskens Road in Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Humility House in Austintown with his family by his side.
Mr. Kirschensteiner was born June 29, 1942 in Cleveland, a son of John Peter and Mary Koenig Kirschensteiner, moving to the Youngstown area in January 2021.
Mr. Kirschensteiner was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Cleveland, the Cleveland Institute of Art receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts, becoming a self-employed graphic designer, also taught at the Cleveland Institute of Art. He also was the art director of Telarc – CD in Beachwood
Mr. Kirschensteiner was a member of Church of the Holy Angels in Chagrin Falls where he was a member of the church choir, did graphics and volunteered for numerous events at the church.
Mr. Kirschensteiner leaves to cherish his memory, sister, Elaine (Louis) Alfonsetti of Endicott, NY; Sister Paulette Kirschensteiner H.M. of Girard; Barbara (Phil) Stone of Strongsville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Church of the Holy Angels, 18205 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023.
