VIENNA - Mrs. Shirley A. Arnold was born 03-09-36, daughter of the late Min and Sam Spokane, wife of the late Herbert B Arnold. She resided in Youngstown from 1946 to 2021. She attended Indiana University and Ohio State University where she graduated in 1958. She worked as a speech pathologist for the Warren schools, Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center, Potential Development Center, and Mill Creek Child Care Center and retired in 1989 from the Youngstown schools where she worked for 32 years.
Shirley enjoyed playing Mah Jongg and taught Mah Jongg at the Jewish Community Center.
She was a member of Congregation Ohev Beth Sholom formerly Rodef Sholom Temple and its Sisterhood, El Emeth Sisterhood and the Scope Center of Howland.
She leaves a daughter Allison Israel of Henderson, Nevada (Mrs. Eli Israel), a brother Herbert Spokane of Florida, a brother Richard Spokane of Boardman, her son David Arnold passed away in 2012.

A Memorial Service will be Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. in Rodef Sholom Cemetery Chapel located in Tod Homestead Cemetery, 2200 Belmont Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio 44505
