Yolanda B. Shubert

HUBBARD – Yolanda B. Shubert, 89, of Hubbard passed away early Sunday morning July 23, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Mrs. Shubert was born in Blossburg, Pennsylvania, Monday, November 27, 1933 and was a daughter of William H. and Viola M. Craig Mock and moved to the community in 1951.

She was a homemaker, loved her family and enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune.

Mrs. Shubert leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Jeannie Shubert of Canfield and Carol (James) Kather of Hubbard; siblings, Sandy (Michael) Mraz of Youngstown; Ronnie (Katrina) Mock of Kanawha Falls, West Virginia; Bonnie White of Struthers and James (Sue-best friend and favorite sister-in-law) Mock of Girard; grandchildren, Rhonda, Jimmy, Jami and Kaytlyn (Andrew) Brekoski; great grandchildren, Scarlett, Nadia, Teresa, Nicholas, Connor, A.J. and Emma; and a great great grandson, P.J.

Besides her parents Mrs. Shubert was preceeded in death by her husband, Earl whom she married Saturday, September 26, 1953 and who passed away Monday, June 14, 1993, siblings, Robert Mock, William Mock, Jr., Gordon Mock, Terry Mock, Jerry Mock and Judy Burnett.

The Shubert family had a private graveside service Thursday, July 27, 2023 at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
